They called him “The Boss,” but he never pushed anyone harder than he did himself. It showed. In his lyrics, in his music, in his performances. Bruce Springsteen never sweat a drop that did not come from honest labor. All that ambition, all that energy and drive, converged in one of the greatest albums in rock ’n’ roll history, “Born to Run.” It was released 50 years ago Monday. ---SNIP--- What makes Springsteen different from other Trump critics is that there is not a hint of partisanship in his criticism; his assaults are based on a humanity that transcends party affiliations, a trait we see in both the man and the artist.

Never liked him, horrible voice, mediocre songs. Being a leftist lunatic just fits him perfectly.
Born to run his commie yapper is more like it
“Spruce Springboard”, eh? That’s one pool I won’t be diving into!
No surprise that anti Americans are often born in the USA.
Agree 100% He’s yuk....looks, talent, politics...LOSER
Bruce Springsteen and Bryan Adams
Both are pro-”transgender” bathrooms 🚽🚽🚽
MEN IN WOMEN’S BATHROOMS 😧🙀🤯😦
America apologizes for Bruce Springsteen
Canada should at least apologize for Bryan Adams...
“What makes Springsteen different from other Trump critics is that there is not a hint of partisanship in his criticism”
Take another bong hit, Bob
ditto

Completely Delusional
Excellent catch 🎣🎣🎣 👍👍
Can’t stand him and never could. He has been doing more falling than running lately. Except for his big arrogant stupid mouth.
Same. Never understood the appeal. Seemed about as genuine a blue collar guy as Tim Walz.
I had been in the military about a year and I was in “A” school training. There was a room full of Bostonians down the hall...They played that Springsteen album constantly at high volume... when I went up to the Aleutions, there was a squid up there down the hall in the barracks, and all he played was Gary Rafferty Bakerstreet (saxophone...) When I hear those two artists to this day I still cringe.
(((YAWN))) He’s like John Legend and his wife. Most of us can’t figure out what they did to make them “legends’. They are cult ding dongs. Che’ Guevaras with guitars. Retarded college kidees love them.
John Mellencamp was far better than Springsteen in every way.
I was thinking about this the other day when one of his early songs came on. Here’s a guy who bills himself as a champion of the working class who is too stupid to realize that Trump is the best thing to happen to the working class in Springsteen’s lifetime.
To hell with this moron.
[John Mellencamp was far better than Springsteen in every way.]
I can still remember the first time I heard this bit of musical plagiarism.
I was driving home from my cousin’s place in a 1970 English Ford Cortina 2-door and this song came on the radio which sounded to me to be a direct ripoff of Roger McGuinn’s song with The Byrds “Chestnut Mare.”
No matter how many times I’ve heard it, all I can ever think of is George Harrison was sued - successfully - for doing something similar to “He’s So Fine” when he wrote “My Sweet Lord.”
My ex-wife was a YUGE (well, she was quite pear-shaped by the time we divorced) Springsteen fan and dragged me to a concert in München’s Olympiahalle one night where after about the first hour of his drivel I fell asleep.
She didn’t speak to me for days.
Some of the best days of my life.
Not political? Sure.
[Chorus]
If you put on your coat, I’ll put on my hat
If you put out the dog, I’ll put out the cat
If you put on your red dress for me tonight, honey
We’re going on the town now, looking for easy money
[Verse]
There’s nothing to it, mister, you won’t hear a sound
When your whole world comes tumbling down
And all them fat cats, they’ll just think it’s funny
I’m going on the town now, looking for easy money
Whoo!
[Verse]
I got a Smith & Wesson .38
I got a hellfire burning, and I got me a date
Got me a date on the far shore where it’s bright and sunny
I’m going on the town tonight, looking for easy money
Whoo!
