The Rhode Island woman.......an assistant attorney general...... whose arrest went viral earlier this week after she seemingly tried to use her position to evade arrest, telling officers they’d “regret” putting her behind bars, will be placed on unpaid leave, her job future unclear.

Nice

Devon Flanagan was ejected from the Clarke Cooke House restaurant in Newport, Rhode Island, because she and her companion refused to leave after being asked to do so by the restaurant, leading to an arrest for trespassing.

Flanagan, a Rhode Island special assistant attorney general, was then charged with trespassing and became defensive and berated police officers who responded to the scene, telling them they would “regret this”.

The incident gained wider attention after viral body camera footage showed her behavior towards the officers.
