I'm sorry you're selfish ass doesn't believe that people in some neighborhoods deserve to be protected. But they believe they deserve to be protected. This one man has been shot four times since moving to DC. Maybe they would like their neighborhoods protected.

You need to remember that one key reason Democrat leadership always sides with the criminal class is not only are they a core constituency but many, maybe even most, of them are also members of that class.

Large city (read democrat run) police departments spend 90% of their resources and manpower babysitting/"protecting" the black community. It's not fair, it's wrong, and it doesn't work. We each pay our own water bills and cities need to come up with ways to charge 'communities' that use way more of a city resource (like police service) than other communities - and charge accordingly. Same with street cleaning....

People in the black community want to live in safe communities. Democrats run these communities like a 'half way war' that goes on forever but is never won.
What Trump is saying is 'lets win this war against crime or not bother.'
If some press person went door to door in the black community they might discover the people who want to be 'oh so understanding of criminals' are white liberal 'elites' who don't live anywhere near the black community. Black citizens in these communities want to be safe in their neighborhoods just like the rest of us.
