Sentiment rules in this version of Twain's beloved classic tale of boyhood in 1850 Missouri. Tom Sawyer (Tommy Kelly) and his pal Huckleberry Finn (Jackie Moran) have great adventures on the Mississippi River, including most sequences familiar to readers of the book.

If you want to visit a wonderful place, visit the Mark Twain House in Hartford, Connecticut. It was where he wrote it. Nook Farm, the neighborhood where it is, also has another house by another famous author - Harriet Beecher Stowe, the author of Uncle Tom’s Cabin.

I think I read that Tom Sawyer was the first novel composed on a typewriter.

Thank you! Outstanding live intro. Never get tired of watching those three guys play their asses off. RIP Neil Peart, one of the best.

"Jackie Moran"

I knew a beautiful (female) upperclassman (2 or 3 years older) with that name. She could have been a model.
