Current Time 0:32 / Duration Time 2:17

NASCAR released the 2026 schedule for all three national series Wednesday, bringing back a Chicago-area staple, shifting up the All-Star Race rotation and renewing the In-Season Challenge for a second edition.

NASCAR officials had previously announced two key components to the 2026 slate, introducing a street-course event in San Diego’s Naval Base Coronado and moving the championship weekend for all three national circuits to Homestead-Miami Speedway. Joining those headliners are new NASCAR Cup Series points races at Chicagoland Speedway (July 5), which last hosted racing events in 2019, and North Wilkesboro Speedway (July 19), which will have its first points-paying event since 1996 after playing host to the All-Star Race the last three years.

That’s why it’s called TRASHCAR. I gave-up on it, years ago.

Just as they call “bad guys”. Heels. The guys you love to hate, just like the AEW sign off Turn 2 at EchoPark.

No television for five races from the 600 to San Diego for Cup only. O’Reilly and Truck races are all televised.

Those non-televised races belong to The Washington BLEEP.

Are you referring to the five races that will be broadcast by Amazon Prime? They did that for this season, too.

They did? I didn’t notice that. I have been watching fewer and fewer NASCAR races over the years. I didn’t even realize I missed those.

With Daytona only 80 miles away, I was an avid fan back in 80s and 90s, when you could look at a car and tell what make it was......when they let toyota in and started the crap with the stages I hit the ejection button.

Paying $90 for a place to stand for 3 hours is not my idea of entertainment.

Now, not only do the cars all look alike.....many drivers do as well.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. left NBC to launch the coverage at NASCAR for Prime Video. Earnhardt and Steve Letarte will also cover the next five races for TNT Sports before NBC takes over for the rest of the season. Letarte will continue covering NASCAR for NBC.

NASCAR schedule?
Big yawn.
Got way better things to do on a Sunday afternoon than watch Identical cars go in circles with commentators screaming for hours on end trying to make nothing sound exciting.
Bring back the real factory sponsored STOCK cars!!!
