At one time, his father was considered, pound for pound, the best boxer in the world. I am surprised he never got citizenship.

I am surprised he never got citizenship ehhh, Nick, don't bury the lede. He was deported by the United States to face drug trafficking-related charges in Mexico.

At one time, his father was considered, pound for pound, the best boxer in the world. I am surprised he never got citizenship. Perhaps he was happy being a Mexican citizen. Many Mexicans are, especially if they are well-off like him. It's a myth that EVERYONE wants to be an American. Some people are content to stay where they are if they are otherwise happy there.
