I did see some pretty Russian reporterettes who had put their hair up tightly because it looked a bit greasy.
And then when the whole thing was done, absolutely no reporters from the entire world needed to be there. No questions taken. They were all just filling text with speculation.
I don’t know if it is customary for the State Dept from anywhere to provide facilities for visiting media. It probably is, given these complaints.
I didn’t find any trace in the article saying anyone did anything deliberately, merely that it wasn’t from any incompetence or ill will from the American hosts.
