Superman may stand for truth, justice and the American way, but Margaret Cho has a different way to describe Dean Cain, the actor who once played him: "dumbass."
"Why would you join ICE and encourage people to join ICE when your ancestors were interned in World War II?" the San Francisco comic asked in a video shared with her 347,000 followers on Instagram on Aug. 8, addressing Cain directly. "You're Japanese. You're not even white."
Cain, who is of Japanese descent on his father's side, is best known for his portrayal of the Man of Steel in the 1990s series "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman," opposite Palo Alto native Teri Hatcher. He first shared his plans to join the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency while promoting recruitment for the agency on Instagram earlier this month.

japanese were interned during World War II because at that point nobody knew what was going to happen. The allies had been getting their ass kicked in ‘39 thru 1942. If even a fraction of Japanese had ill intent, which was unknown at the time, they could have done great damage to the war effort.
This is how you can tell when your government is serious about something. They don’t take leave anything to chance. It isn’t necessarily the likelihood of something happening, but the consequences if it does.

Cho is a first generation A-hole who has no love of country, if she wants a cuntry where it’s open borders and the invaders are leaches on the actual citizens there are options for her....England, Germany, France, Belgium...hell she might even find somewhere that they think she’s funny. She should go, go now and find somewhere that your angry dyke life can be happy.
There's also the "small" matter of broken codes. We had broken the Japanese naval and diplomatic cipher systems and were reading their mail ... and we knew that they were running espionage and sabotage operation on the west coast. The fact of successful code-breaking had to be protected, so rather than rounding up just the spies and saboteurs, we expelled all Japanese from the west coast. Some people abused this wartime necessity, but that doesn't make it not a necessity.
Shouldn't you have to be funny to be a comedian? Jeff Dunham, Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy and Tim Allen are.
