Man in U.S. illegally charged after crash kills 3 on Florida Turnpike
ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — An illegal immigrant has been arrested in connection with a deadly crash on Florida's Turnpike. The crash occurred around 3 PM on Tuesday near Fort Pierce.
Troopers said a semi-truck tried making a U-turn in an 'official use only' area, causing a minivan to crash into the truck. Three of the minivan's passengers died.
The driver, Harjinder Singh, has now been charged with three counts of vehicular homicide. Officials said he entered the US illegally by crossing the U.S.-Mexico border in 2018.
“Three people lost their lives as a result of his recklessness, and countless friends and family members will experience the pain of their loss forever. Harjinder Singh is in custody on state vehicular homicide charges and immigration violations. He will no longer be able to damage and destroy the lives of Floridians and visitors,” Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Executive Director, Dave Kerner said.

Knowing these turnpike turnarounds well (they’re for cops only), it’s astonishing that someone would be so stupid to try this u-turn. Even on an empty highway.
So he stopped at a rest stop and got back on the turnpike heading the wrong way - which many of us have done. Instead of driving to the next toll booth and turning around, he chose poorly. Very poorly.
Which is better than deporting him and waiting until he sneaks back in. His home country is not going to do anything to him.
Keep him in prison for 20 years and then deport him. He won't ever come back.

If it was an Indian driver it probably had several “Student Driver” stickers on it.
Strict on citizens. Not so much on noncitizens i.e. illegal aliens.
Same with parking an RV on the side of the road forever. OK for vagrants, ticketed and towed for normal people.

There is no evidence they were drunk or weed farmers. They are illegally here and California issued them a CDL. That is bad enough and they are 100% at fault for the accident. No need to insert lies.

That is not what happened. THERE IS VIDEO from the truck’s camera. The driver did indeed try to U-Turn using the “Official Use Only” cut through.
Probably someone of similar ilk running several scam companies out of an apartment building….switching DOT numbers and such. Bonehead Truckers has been covering this for a while.
I'm not typically one to make excuses for Trump's mistakes but it would be disingenuous to not recognize that in 2018 he wasn't getting any help from anyone on anything. In fact, he was being actively defied at every turn.
Fortunately, the Democrats were nice enough to give him four years to think about what he'd do differently if he ever had another shot at it and he seems to have used this time wisely.
