Correct. On the other hand, Putin will never give up the Donbas.

I have no dog in this fight. Both sides have behaved terribly. But this war must end. My solution would be for Russia to buy the Donbas. The price would be a large amount of gold and natural gas.

Kinda like our own Gadsden Purchase.

Deal would have to allow NATO forces, (Euros) on the new frontier with significant troops/weapons...and free movement in and out of the disputed areas. No joining NATO for however long for UKR

Both sides? Do you know how many sides there are that behaved badly? Our globalist war mongers who thought they could make Russia collapse [see Brzinski doctrine and its progeny], WEF, global hedge funds, EU, useless NATO bureaucrats trying to find a mission after the end of the cold war, etc. etc. Oh, and the grifters in Congress, NGOs, DC strategic and peace studies orgs, who were being paid handsomely out of the laundry.
