HELL-—NO
The Russian objective for well over a year, in addition to clearing out Donetsk, has BEEN TO DESTROY TO UKRAINIAN MILITARY, not pick up large chucks of territory.
Destroy the opponents military makes it easier to take territory if that ends up being necessary.Duh!
The Russians moved with lighting speed in the first seven months of the war when building a land bridge from mainland Russia to Crimea was the objective.
Poland's Konrad Muzyka, who has visited Ukraine troops on the frontlines, to the Polish news site Rzeczpospolita:
"It is worrying that Russia's territorial gains, especially in July, were quite significant and larger than in previous months. The Russians have advanced 10-12 km along several axes. This is something we haven't seen before. If there were any territorial conquests before, they were concentrated around one area. Now we have several areas where the front is starting to leak.
[...] when it comes to the Ukrainian soldier, the biggest problem is that he's just... not there. And this is due to the fact that the scale of desertion and abandonment of units without consent is very high. This creates a dangerous situation: if you take into account the loss of soldiers on the front line, desertion and abandonment of units without consent, the number of soldiers on the Ukrainian side decreases month after month. Although officially the Ukrainians mobilize 20-30 thousand people every month, most of them do not get to the front line.
This is a very big structural problem that has remained unresolved for a long time, and there is no indication that it will change soon. Other issues include the quality of command, the personal equipment these soldiers receive, the characteristics of Ukrainian commanders-in-chief, and the phase of the war."
Keep doubting President Trump, and when the deal gets made, then shut up. You guys, on both sides are wrong about everything.
No, both Russia and Ukraine will keep bleading men, and we walk away and let these two 2nd World Nations slaughter eachother. Neither on le is worth anything compared to us.
Putin bowed to President Trump, not the other way around. What a loser you are.
And don’t bother with you wa5lr monger nei- con crap. Like President Trump, I’m a Jacksonian. We end wars through strenth
Why don’t you just shut it? I’m one of the biggest Trump boosters there is on FR.
I was mocking the Ukie troll marcusmaximus.
Bull. You have constantly said that Putin has more cards then Trump. Nope, the sanctions forced Putin to the table. My stance is with the US. BOTH sides are learing that YOU DON’T MRSS WITH THE USA
We are the greatest Nation on the Earth. LEARN IT.
We tire of your semi-literacy, cowgurl.
If Putin gives in, he will likely be ousted by the Russian deep state.
If Putin gives in, he will likely be ousted by the Russian deep state.
Exactly.
I’m tired of you putting Pilutin before President Trump, saying that President Trump had no cards. You will continue to be called out on it. AMERICAN PRACE THROUGH STRENTH MAKES THE WORLD SAFER.All Nations need to respect and fear us.
“”””Direct correlation to JFK risking WW3 when USSR tried putting missiles on US front porch””””
The Communist USSR was trying to conquer the world, NATO and the United States and the rest of the free world were trying not to be conquered.
In ‘62 the USSR had maybe 20 missiles that could threaten the US. The Cuban missiles sere a way of equalizing threats as US had Thor and Jupiter missiles in Turkey. Equating that situation with today is just wrong. Besides US only France and UK have nukes and both have missiles that can reach targets anywhere in Russia that have any importance and if NATO wanted to threaten Russia with nuke missiles Poland and the Baltics would provide a very adequate basing.
Anonymous sources? Mm-hm.
“What about this don’t you understand, Zeeptard?”
Bite me, you commie slime.
Weren’t you jerkoffs supposed to be in Kiev 2 years ago?
L
I see a lot of comments about Ukrainian manpower shortages. Someone explain to me why I see so many military aged Ukrainian males riding out this war in NW Florida? I’m not really interested in covering for them. I damn near got into a fight with a Ukrainian coworker who was ranting the US should gone over already. I pointed out I wouldn’t send my sons to fight a war he ran from. He’s 22, his brother also here 24. He also has several friends and extended family here. F that.
How so if the Russians end up with all the territory they hoped to incorporate into the Russian Federation and if Ukraine is forced to demilitarize and remain a neutral country?
Those were Russia's primary objectives going into the war.
They would be completely isolated though politically.
They basically already have Belarus anytime they want, why go through all the trouble of taking Ukraine?
