The Batman TV show was a classic. Many beautiful ladies appeared on that show, Julie Newmar, Yvonne Craig, and Grace Lee Witney come to mind. Catwoman dancing with Batman is a classic scene from that show.
I was 13 when the show first aired . Had the hots bigtime for Catwoman !
Not about her (I think it was Yvonne Craig) but Bruce Ward as Robin scowled once and asked Adam West as the TV Batman “What I don’t understand is how can any man find a woman with low morals and a total lack of respect for the law to be appealing.”
Batman put up his gloved hand to stifle a smile. “Someday we’ll have a long talk about that when you’re older.”

I was 5 years old. I hadn’t quite figured out why I loved Julie Newmar as Catwwoman. I figured that out later !! LOL
I liked Eartha Kitt and Lee Merriwether as Batwoman too ,but Julie was my fave .

The Batman TV series starring Adam West didn’t run that long. It aired from January 12, 1966, to March 14, 1968, on ABC. It ran for three seasons with a total of 120 episodes. I was in high school at the time and don’t remember watching that many episodes of the show. The vamping was a bit over the top for me plus work and school got all my time.
My parents controlled the only TV we had.
Batman was not on the list of shows.
The worst show to ever become a hit in the history of television.
It would have made a great series, though. Better than The Odd Couple.
I could watch Batman at age 15.
But, just a year earlier (Dec 1964), Mom said “No way you are going to go see Goldfinger” (in so many words). Mom & Dad didn’t want their 13 year old son asking questions about “Pussy Galore” and then didn’t want me to see Jill Masterson get killed by being covered in gold paint.
Moms were tough that way. Nothing got past mom. And that was obviously WAY before you looked things up on the ‘net.
Oh, I don't know... I'd say that "Lost in Space" might have been worse.
