i really dunno what to think of it but i figured some freepers might be interested. about a naive european girl shocked over U.S. global military power.. They that naive? putting on a show? real? i don't know
First of all, I don’t like these kinds of videos because they keep stopping to talk. Second of all, they know America is a superpower.
This seemed real to me. He has a good general handle on the status, and she is not naive in my opinion-just someone who has not been exposed to it. And there are a lot of Americans who would. be similarly new to it, and would benefit from watching this.
He seems to genuinely respect American military capability, and he seems to understand two key things: Training (quality of military) and logistic capability, intangibles that most non-military people don’t give appropriate thought to.
Hahaha...about halfway through, he shows up in a plug for his show with a cowboy hat and shirt sporting the red, white, and blue...:) So, while this could be simple American propaganda spit out on a channel on YouTube, I think it is more likely he would be considered an “Americanophile” which would put him at odds with many Europeans.
He said a few key things right at the end: Nobody is going to bring down America from the outside, it is going to be brought down from the inside. He also thinks that the two political parties in America may have more in common with each other than with any entities outside the USA, but I have concerns with the validity of that statement.
American Leftists have more in common with Communist China and Communist Cuba than they do with American Conservatives. Maybe when push comes to shove that might not be true, but I wouldn’t hold my breath there.
In the end, it is the Constitution of the United States and the sentiments expressed in the Declaration of Independence that make us strong, not something ethnic in us.
Liberty, Free Thought, and Property Rights with the Christian principles that underlie those things are what make this country great.
And that is what makes American Military great, or at least, did. If we get rid of this DEI BS and get back to merit based advancement and mindset of unity and teamwork, out military will be as great as the money we put into it, and more.
I am hopeful that can happen, and having Trump at the Top and Hegseth taking his marching orders from him, I would like to think it can indeed happen.

From the video it seems like these people are from Portugal.
Their country was once a great power also. After they and the Spanish threw off Moslem rule.
Both Portugal and Spain became great because of Christianity, as did the US.
Maybe it’s best if everyone realizes this fact.

If I had to have an underlying philosophy to base a national character or governance off of, Christianity seems to me the best there is.
