I took the question to refer to the summit, which is not a cause for Ukrainian supporters to despair; on the contrary.

Ukie grifter Zelensky wasn’t invited.
How do you interpret THAT?

I interpret it as Trump just threatened Putin on his behalf!

I disagree. Who do you think would legit beat him?

General Zaluhzny, the mayor of Kiev Klitschko, or possibly some other dark horse peace candidate.

Zelenski is quite dispensable at this point, imo

There is no way for Zelensky to lose an election.

It’s the ultimate in redistricting. All the Ukrainians who fled to Russia (and there are many) . . . they can try to absentee ballot but the address will be Russia and tossed.

All the people in the new Donbas Russian oblasts will not be voting.

That leaves nearly nobody who can oppose Zelensky. Pre 2014, pro Russian candidates often won elections, with their numbers from Crimea, and Donbas. Those are gone now.

Either of the people I named would beat Zelenski easily if an election were held.

However, it is more likely that Zelenski meets with an unfortunate ending, making the point about whether he could win another election a moot one.

As I said, at this point he’s dispensable.

We shall see.

All are "peace candidates" in that they want peace for Ukraine.

It only looks easy, but it isn't.

Dispensable is a cruel word.

” it’s a different vibe.”

Yeah. Putin doesn’t hate Trump like Zelensky does.

“”Yeah. Putin doesn’t hate Trump like Zelensky does.””

How do you know? You presuming to read Putin’s mind? P’s a pragmatist, like all leftists. He is in it for whatever is good for keeping his position of power. That’s it. That is one thing he and Z have in common. They care nothing for the people they supposedly serve.

Which is another thing in common that ‘all’ leftists have... along with being anti-democracy while decrying the opposite, and eliminating opposition, and keeping a tight control over the populace, as well as blaming ‘the West’ for all ills, while taking no responsbility for their own actions.

And for the record, the vibe I was referring to had to do with Trump’s mindset. NOT Putin’s. It’s clear, from Trump’s demeanor, that Trump did not respect Z at all, but has some measure of respect for Putin. That, however, could change.

It’s obvious. You can compare Putin’s and Zelensky’s body language when they met. In addition, Zelensky came to our country and interfered in our election trying to help Harris. That is not a friendly act.

Perhaps, but don’t be fooled. Neither one of them are our “friends”.
