Someone’s trying to sabotage the talks. Not necessarily Zelensky - I don’t think it’s him, but someone in the chain of command.
It’s on purpose. Zelensky is delusional as regards ceding territory and he’d do anything to sabotage an agreement. If the Ukranian people are truly sick of war I foresee an “accident” in Zelensky’s future.

That said, I don’t expect any ground breaking developments from the meeting between Trump and Putin, Vlad is advancing, the Ukies are now trapped in at least four seperate cauldrons….St Z is simply depleted and President Trump knows this.

Basically the Neocons decided that the only way to scuttle the talks was to shoot a bunch of drones into Russian civilian targets, sending Putin a message that the war will NEVER end, regardless of what he signs with Trump.
As usual, Putin won’t take the Neocon bait, but it will be interesting to see how Trump reacts, given the meeting tomorrow.

Both of your posts are right, it’s the Neocons, who are OBVIOUSLY at the top of the command, and also outsiders. A Trump/Putin agreement to end the war is the ABSOLUTE WORST OUTCOME for them for it means that Ukraine will no longer be their mercenary army to use against the Ruzzians.
