A London restaurant has been shut down after dog meat was allegedly found in the freezer.
Pho Na, a Vietnamese restaurant on Old Kent Road, Southwark, closed after inspectors found the suspicious looking meat labelled as ‘goat wrapped in leaves’.
But when it was sent for analysis it was confirmed it was dog meat.

It’s been my studied observation that asian restaurants aren’t usually the most hygienic.
How the restrooms are maintained can be very telling.....if the establishment doesn’t care about what the customer sees there, who knows what’s going on in the kitchen......that goes for any other restaurants BTW.

I spent years in restaurants before immigration kicked in, from dishwasher to mgmt., and I thought I knew inspectors, but in later years as a service plumber seeing the kitchen areas of post immigration restaurants, I think food inspectors use a different standard, if any standard at all, with immigrant owned eateries, also fair hiring practices don’t seem to apply to them.
In certain cultures, if one is hungry, one eats whatever moves on its own.....the owner might have kept the dog meat in there for his own consumption.
On the other hand, when in Wome, do what the Woemans do.

Sheldon: I believe the Szechuan Palace has been passing off orange chicken as tangerine chicken, and I intend to confront them.
