Trump is just placating the Europeans with this. Realistically what more can he threaten Russia with? Further sanctions are pointless. He could threaten Putin that he will send massive military aid to Ukraine if a deal isn’t reached but Russia knows that it’s unlikely (and it would anger large parts of his base). Russia has this war pretty much in the bag at this point and the only thing left to negotiate is Ukraine’s terms of surrender. If Europe wants to continue fighting let them do it on their own.

Have we tried supplying the Ukes with massive amounts of those IED roadside bombs that Iran gave our enemies in Iraq and Afghanistan? The ones with thick copper plates that fragmented and partially melted when the high explosives in them detonated, so they tore through our Humvee and other vehicle armor? Killed and maimed many ma.y of our troops. No reason it wouldn’t maimed and kill Russians too. Heck we could reopen some copper mines here to make em. Have the Ules put them EVERYWHERE THE Russians are.
