Jeremy Clarkson has today joined the Cotswolds backlash against holidaying US Vice President JD Vance.
The presenter revealed his new summer neighbour has interrupted the filming of Clarkson's Farm as the secret service swarms the surrounding countryside and a no–fly zone has been put in place.
The Vice President's visit to the Cotswolds has already attracted some criticism with locals complaining of disruption and left–leaning protesters flocking to the area.
Motoring journalist turned farmer Clarkson said that the one–mile no fly zone around Vance's Cotswolds manor house rental is preventing drone cameramen on his Amazon Prime show from doing their job.
The no fly zone has been set up for security reasons while Mr Vance is in residence in the hamlet of Dean for the rest of August.
He posted a picture on Instagram showing the no fly zone, including his own farm, Curdle Hill Farm – also known as Diddly Squat because, he has claimed, that's how much money he stands to make from it.
The TV star captioned the map: 'The JD Vance no fly zone. We are the pin. So on the downside, no drone shots today. On the upside, no annoying light aircraft.'
And Clarkson isn't the only one frustrated by Vance's presence in Chipping Norton, with the presenter's right hand man Kaleb Cooper complaining that the extra security had derailed him from his own farming duties.

First World problems. Enjoy them while you have them man. Next supper it will be 14 year olds in fatigues and kalishnikovs and machettes
While some people are opposed to Vance, from what i gather many more are up in arms because his presence is a major inconvenience. Secret service agents everywhere, road closures, cars searched etc. If anybody else would cause such a circus they’d hate it just as much.
Sort of a stupid (and costly) vacation choice. Go somewhere in the states instead - like the PA Wilds.

I lived in Lani Kai, Oahu when that thin skinned kenyan bastard vacationed in Kailua. There is one road in and one road out. They shut down half the island for him just to get his shave ice.
NO ONE was out protesting one way or another when he was around. Maybe people looked at curiosity as the parade of SUVs went by. But no one cared. No one cared when Biden went on vacation. I don’t recall seeing huge gatherings of people protesting him at his vacation spots.
It’s always the agitated AND PAID democrats. They angry stupid sheep.
Nasty drum beating, screeching hairy legged women and trannies can be pretty darn annoying.
They’d better realize if they mess with JD he’s likely to just shoot them.

Vance is over there for very important meetings with Europeans leading up to the President Trump/Putin summit.
I personally don’t think important diplomacy should be mixed up with vacation tripping.
I hope he rented next to Ellen Degenerate and invited her over for some TX barbecue.
I lived in Ewa Beach when the Won was Prez. I worked in Wahiawa so avoided the North Shore when he was there. But I remember the turmoil. Most of the locals were gaga for him.
I was grounded in ‘97 in a plane in Bali while Clinton took off.
