We are at a turning point in history, the end of the age of politics as religion, of heaven on earth, the rule of the educated elite. In other words, a revolution.
About eight years from now, after the reelection of President Vance, experts will agree that there was something rotten in the state of Clinton, Obama, and Biden. Always the last to know, the experts will finally “notice” that something has changed in this city on a hill.
Steve Sailer has a book on Noticing. And why not? The most important skill for a human is to notice when things have changed and then to figure out what to do next.
Anyone with half a brain noticed that something had changed back in 2016 when neophyte politician Trump ran for the presidency. And the Deep State noticed it too. That’s what Clinton and Obama and Clapper and Brennan and Uncle Tom Cobbley and our world-beating Intelligence Community were conspiring to stop before it was too late. Only they failed.
I notice, according to reports, that President Trump has just brokered his seventh peace agreement between warring states since January 20 and counting.
All of us, excepting our liberal friends, really want to know what this all means.
This is what I noticed in the last few days. There’s a Salena Zito piece on Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. I’ll just give you the high points:
Spend any time listening to Bessent talk, and it is clear he is laser-focused on one thing, something he can only accomplish in his current job: lifting America’s economy into a position where both Main Street and Wall Street are performing equally robustly.
And this:
The 79th treasury secretary also loves working with President Donald Trump... The banter, trust, and respect that went

Now this——Pres Trump has just brokered his seventh peace agreement, and counting, between warring states since his January 20 taking office. All of us, excepting our liberal friends, really want to know what all this Trump success means?
I did, because of the 1966 gubernatorial primary election in which Reagan had beaten RINO George Christopher. That the RINOs in California fell in behind Reagan in the general election. Reagan's success in keeping the CAGOP together is an achievement I think that is under appreciated, as they didn't fall to their usual backstabbing of a conservative primary winner (see "Kari Lake" or any number of other examples).
the end of the age of politics as religion
this is the same as saying the end of the age democrat rule.
Why?
Because for democrats, politics is religion. Government is god.
Both Reagan and Coolidge despised their VPs. Both accepted their VPs as a political compromise.
Coolidge said about Hoover: “That man has offered me unsolicited advice for the past six years, all of it bad.”
IOW the Rockefeller "Republicans," in the case of Hoover, soon to import the Frankfurt School.
oh sure, the democrats are going to just give up and quit voting.
//////
Democrats will fight tooth and claw.
But right now, all the trends are against them in terms of voting. In every state in the United States except Utah—republicans gained in terms of net new voters. (Utah is already about 85 % republican. There was a small twitch in the democrat direction there.
If republicans can successfully clean the illegals off the voting rolls in all states—a major dent will be put into democrats.
Democrats have another problem. They have taken to disagreeing with Trump on issues where he has 80%/20% percent support from the electorate. Its TDS. Not an effective strategy to win elections.
The final problem the democrats have is that they don’t know who they are and they don’t know who the repbulicans are.
That’s not a recipe for victory at the ballot box.
i hope you arent considering trend voters as long term conservatives. the only reason we are having these successes are because the left is fractured and leaderless. this will not last long and when it does things are going to go the other way. the left has been entrenched for a long time and they own the entire media.
agree that trend churches are churches that don’t have an inner dynamic, an inner morality—they are merely churches that bow to authority and call it holy. It was easy to tell trend churches in the last 10 years because they ran up rainbow flags outside their churches.
Agree that true conservatives are conservatives whether times are good or bad for conservatives.
agree that trend voters are trend voters but right now the trend is your friend. don’t knock it.
—the only reason we are having these successes are because the left is fractured and leaderless.—
agree except for the “only” part, I would have agreed if you said one “
—the only reason we are having these successes are because the left is fractured and leaderless.” That’s true. But that’s not all it. The biggest part is that 80% of the American population really hate what the democrats espouse.
////////
the left has been entrenched for a long time
/////
agree. They will fight as best they can.
////////
they own the entire media.
/////
Disagree. The media landscape today is much more fractured and diverse than it was even 10 years ago. The republicans have gained the upper hand.
49% OR LESS “really hate what the democrats espouse”
i really feel you are vastly overestimating the situation
///////
ok another 30% “don’t like what the democrats espouse” add that to your 49%.
Where do I get my numbers? Trump is famous for hitting on issues with a 80 percent to 20% favorability rating. The democrats famously take the 20% side.
