Off topic — but does anyone have an opinion on the Baseball HOF in Cooperstown? I’ve never been, but I’ll be passing by in September and thought I might drop in. I’m not a huge baseball fan, and I’m mostly interested in early baseball, deadball era and up into the 1950s or so. Is it an enjoyable trip? I’m not sure I want to commit a day to it.
Cooperstown is a throwback little town. It’s very pretty up there and the museum is done up nicely. Go in the fall and be sure to check out the Ommegamg brewery.
Beautiful area. Well worth the visit. The HOF is well done. The village is quaint and clean. Lake Ostego cruise is recommended.
And, this baseball tournament is one of the coolest things besides the Little League World Series.
