How ridiculous. Calculation how many millennia it would take to reach the area of a black hole. And 25 years to get a signal back.
I’d guess at least 50 years. Even though they established that, they still have no real clue what they’re all about. Lots of guessing, theories etc.
It said black hole not black ho.
I looked at it and I think the best evidence has been since 2015 or so.
The 70s were pretty significant as well. Thankfully the longer and deeper you dig the more evidence or what is already known, seems to improve.
At today’s probe travel speeds it will take so many generations to reach the nearest black hole and for the telemetry to return that the launch will be long forgotten. That’s if civilized humanity is still in existence.
