I was told many years ago by an HR director that when you fire a person do not ever give out any information to prospective employers other than that they worked here from this date to that date, else you could be set up for a lawsuit.............

The left has grown quite confident in their ability to crush anyone that doesn’t toe the progressive line, or at least keep silent if they don’t openly support it. Hopefully this is a signal that the era of cancel culture is over.

Exactly. Thats been the dictum for decades. I ran a small retail store in the 80’s. One of first things the owner told me when he gave me responsibility for hiring and firing was to only expect and to give the dates of employment.
