From the democRAT statements pushing for the Epstein list to be released, it looks to me that they altered documents to remove democRAT names and added Republican names.
It was Pam Bondi who weaponized the Epstein matter with her “notebooks” that she handed out to MAGA influencers—as well as endless Fox appearances making promises about the Epstein files/list whatever.
If Bondi had kept her big mouth shut this would have been a non-event.

He never said there is nothing to investigate, he said you have to separate the real from the fake. Much of it was made to hurt Trump and hide the Clintons etc. We need to be patient to find the real truth and work our way up the chain.

It’s a BS excuse. There is plenty to investigate. For example, 4700 wire transfers to just one bank involving women and underage girls. Not all of wire transfers but some of them.
For Trump to say the whole thing is a hoax is demeaning to the victims and those in Law Enforcement that saw the red flags.

Nobody said it is all a hoax but there are parts that are such as Trump going to the island which the Dems are pushing. You ok with that being reported if it is fake?
They have interviewed Maxwell and trying to release her transcripts. Give it time. It will all be revealed.
