Around 11 p.m. on August 6, officers responded to a report of an assault near the 300 block of South Main Street.

I lived near Seattle many years ago. Pioneer Square was a wonderful place to go, safe with interesting shops and a couple of good restaurants.
Sure has gone to hell in a handbasket since then. Sad and infuriating.
Thanks for posting this. News says August 6th.
So we are allowed to be told about the news from YESTERDAY if we promise to be good little boys and girls and keep our hands folded.
I didn’t see anything about this anywhere.
Liberal paradise.
Yep - and the clueless voters in my home town cannot figure out why this insanity is allowed to continue. Unreal.
Kristopher Randal "Kris" Kime was bending over to help a young woman who was lying on the ground and being attacked. As he bent over, he was struck on the back of his head by Jerell Thomas. He fell onto the pavement and struck his head again. As he lay there, other rioters began to kick him. His friends and others surrounded him to protect him.
Sad story. I see that the scum that killed him got out of prison early and continued committing assault crimes. Same old story. Jerell should have been put in a wood chipper.
Teens. Youths.
I can still see his father crying during an interview. He was devastated.
The whole country is going to hell in a handbasket.
Naggers?
From Wikipedia (Kris Kime murder):
“The attacker was identified by police as 17-year-old Jerell Thomas. He was convicted of second-degree murder in 2001. The conviction was overturned by the Washington State Court of Appeals. The appeal was based on a prior state Supreme Court decision ruling that an assault leading to death cannot be murder without intent to kill. In 2006, Thomas was retried and pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of second-degree manslaughter, receiving a 10-year jail sentence. Thomas was released from prison in December 2009. Since that time, Thomas has been convicted in multiple domestic violence incidents. He is serving a five-year prison sentence for domestic violence assault and harassment with an additional firearms charge stemming from a 2011 incident with a girlfriend.”
Obviously a real nice guy.
Chegroes?
You're right, and heartbreaking as that incident is, they still have a just Judge to face on Judgment Day and they'll have all eternity to reflect on their bad judgment and actions.
👍👍👍👍👍
The Trump regime continues to be all for “prison reform” as a euphemism for early prison release.
idiocy
Why do we tolerate this? We are living in a barbarous society.
That’s getting pretty damned low when they take your shoes.. :(
The video reportedly shows three suspects punching the man in the head and knocking him to the ground, then continuing to punch and kick him as he lay defenseless.
One of the suspects reportedly returned after the initial assault and delivered another kick to the man’s head with such force that officers compared it to kicking a soccer ball or football."
This attack is almost identical to the attack on Kris Kime I posted on post 6.
