Yes I do. I know sweets are the main culprit, as well as my crappy metabolism. However, I don’t eat fast food, junk food, chips, or sodas on a regular basis so it could be a lot worse. I’ve deprived myself of sweets and other fun foods for most of my adult life, and at almost 72, I’ve decided life’s too short for that. I’m not obese, just overweight and I can live with that fact, even though I hate what the extra weight has done to my body.

I was fed up and I remember what my husband's cousin said to me years before “Don't drink your calories “. So I decided to cut out from my diet liquid calories. I didn't change anything I ate. I just drank water, coffee and tea
(With a splash of no fat milk). By doing just this I lost 25 lbs in 6 months.
My next step was to pick one meal where I ate the same thing every day. I picked breakfast. I have a yogurt and coffee every day. It's a form of portion and weight control and getting my mind off food.
Fast forward over the years I've never gained weight I've lost more. At the age of 70 I weigh 117lb (and I'm down 2 inches) I actually can't eat a heavy meal any more. I never deny myself anything food wise but I can't eat large portions.
The last thing is don't eat a late dinner. You can still lose weight doing little tricks with your diet. If I did it anyone can because I'm not the most disciplined person in the world. Good luck!
