Of the five wounded soldiers, three were released from the hospital, one remains hospitalized at Fort Stewart, while the final soldier is at a Savannah, Georgia, hospital, officials said.

Officials said Radford used his own handgun, not a military weapon, to shoot soldiers where he also worked. No motive was given. He enlisted into the Army in January 2018 and was a supply sergeant. Radford had not deployed.

Other soldiers tackled Radford to stop the shooting, CNN reported.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

"The Times reported that Radford had texted his aunt before the shooting, telling her that soon he would be in a better place, according to Radford’s father, who had not seen the message for himself.

He did say his son had complained about racism at Fort Stewart and had been trying to get transferred from the base."

I see the military is still allowing the “No Shave” chits for the brothers... When I first entered the military, I thought it was horrible that the brothers got to walk around in beards. There was only one dude in my 20 years of service who I saw actually needed it. I watched him pull these huge in grown hairs out of his face. The holes got all infected... it was horrible. The others, nah. The rule was you weren’t allowed to trim the beards into fashionable styles. It had to grow natural but be kept at a certain length/thickness. No one adhered to those rules. Brothers always had stylish beards.

Do you have any clue what you are talking about? He enlisted in that MOS. Seven years in a non-combat role to be sergeant is about right.

Some people, whenever the throw hissy fits, cry racism over everything. Can’t be because you’re an incompetent moron who got promoted likely because you’re a minority. Can’t be that. Nope...
And yeas, I saw this crap in the 90’s Army, and I am sure it only got worse since then.

I got my SGT strips in about 3 years as a commo guy in the 82nd. It’s not about me bragging, but I was a squared away soldier, so much so that I got selected to attend Jumpmaster School, which is one of the Army’s toughest schools to pass.

I ended up not going to Jumpmaster School since I came down on orders for another MOS.

I miss the Army everyday, as the Army did for me what my parents couldn’t.

He apparently got a DWI in May and did not tell the army about it. They found out after the shooting. He may have been one of those not getting the ‘respect’ he thought he deserved, so he might have been surly to a lot of people, people that can block promotions. If he was carrying around that type of baggage, an interpersonal dispute might have been the straw that broke the camel’s back.
