@RepThomasMassie

🚨 The Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader are convening pro-forma sessions of Congress in empty chambers during the August recess solely to block President Trump from making recess appointments. Why isn’t the media covering this?

“”Good for Massie for pointing this out.””

Why would Massie even have to ask such a stupid question. Doesn’t he know, by now, the “why”?

“”Something tells me there is a plan behind this. Notice that Trump hasn’t come out and crucified them yet.””

Well I haven’t had my coffee yet, so please explain what that plan could possibly be. I’m not capable of the multi-dimension chess move discernment right now.

Massie will likely win but anything can happen in politics. In my book he is rebel without a clue and grandstander. Not a Trump loyalist. He irritates me in other ways too.

“PDJT will endorse him” (Massie)

NOT bloody likely.

The Senate confirms presidential nominees. Massie should explain how these pro forma sessions in the HOUSE have anything to do with that process.

The House and Senate have to approve each other's going on recess. And if they don't agree on times, then the President can force both to adjourn, and then post his recess appointments. So you need both to block him.

What I don't understand is how they always manage to get these pro forma sessions officially in. If they don't have a proper quorum present, how are they able to call into session?

KY4th is a solid red district, there’s a nurse w 190 Facebook friends and a lawyer running against Massie. I’m sure both are solid conservatives, but Massie is not going to lose to them.

Trying to primary Massie is why the GOP is called the stupid party. GOP should be spending $$$ to primary the Senate’s two RINOs Murkowsky and Collins. Instead they burn money trying to primary someone with a 96% Heritage score.

It’s just a feeling since Trump has been quiet about it.
