Yeah. America thinks we’re into sports. But most of the rest of the world, especially England, is just saturated in sports, we’re amateurs. But we do spend a lot of money to make up for it.
One of things I really enjoy about the international scene is how they nuance the team names to make it seem like these teams aren’t in the same place. Sure there’s the occasional Man City and Man U, but more often than not if you don’t know the country really you don’t know. Like how none of those London teams have London in their name. If you don’t know where Chelsea or Queens Park or Tottenham are you’ll have no idea.
