Anecdote only: Canadians are increasingly choosing to boycott travel to the US.

I think one of the reasons for the decline are, the prices in Vegas have skyrocketed and you can gamble on casino games and sports in significantly more places than years ago.

Especially Sports gambling which can be done on a Phone App or online negating any reason to go to Las Vegas.

Other than the outrageous shows that go on in Vegas, the gambling draw is diminishing.

Hell of a thing to base your economy on gambling, alcohol, and whores.
Call me old fashioned, but John Bunyan warned about Vanity Fair over 400 years ago.

Vegas priced itself out of business. You use to get great hotel rates, affordable meals and shows. It’s all shifed high end now. Nothings cheap, let alone mid-range. Maybe that model works, I don’t know. Not for me though. Not for what Vegas is.

There is a lot of tax revenues money laundered funding drying up.

Vegas is not going to be any kind of hot spot. They could jump on board but entertainment is not escapesism as it was

What the corps and ngos funded will be drying up.

That is what my hope is, the new generation now in High School will be known as “Generation Trump”, and will reject the liberalism of the last few generations. It’s our ONLY hope, now.

As long as you weren’t trying to cheaat The Mob, they treated you just fine. They were for the most part in Vegas, trying to cheat the Government.

They need to go back to making everything cheap but even then gambling is accessible every where so you don’t need to go to Vegas to do it
Which is too bad since it was pretty fun back in the day

Some are trying to blame this on Trump, but people I know who have first-hand knowledge of Vegas say that the problem is that prices on just about everything have gone through the roof and that this goes back a year or two, at least.

Stop turning a 30 dollar room into a $100 room with all the resort and parking fees. In the rest of the country this is known as bait and switch and people don’t like it.

They have a Venetian /New York /Paris themed casinos in Vegas maybe they can open up a Canadian themed casino to get some canucks to visit. Have a big statue of John Candy in front. I’d check it out
