This is about a league that has no problem with the straight white female star getting mugged on the court by thugs—while nobody in the league has the integrity to address it.
This is about a league where the players protest for higher wages when they have a negative net present value—they are getting welfare payments from the NBA.
The protest is not by fans—it is a protest by outsiders who are disgusted with the league and all it stands for...
I thought this might become a thing.
Maybe it’s one of those things Rush Limbaugh used to talk about; you demonstrate absurdity by being absurd.
The question is what punishment fits the crime, does the person get banned for life from WNBA games or is the person forced to attend every home game of the WNBA for the rest of their life.
Makes you wonder what the harshest punishment is.
I think that's to support environmentalism. Remember to recycle.
Ga Tech students use to throw dog biscuits on the field at UGA games, and fish at Notre Dame games.
That’s gross!!! And funny!!!
There is simply no question about that — the latter!
Hahahahahah...especially when it got that “squeak” to it when he was really worked up!
To take a percentage drop in attendance like that shows how serious the WNBA is about this.
One sure way to be kicked out of a sporting event and possible banned from ever returning is to throw any object into the playing surface.
So people who hate the NBA are buying tickets, getting in their car, driving through city traffic to the arena just so they can throw sex toys onto the floor. These folks have too much time on their hands.
People who have likely never even held a basketball in their adult life are now letting the WNBA live in their heads rent-free. It is such a juvenile behavior.
If you say so. Does it make sense to you?
Protesting stuff that affects you is one thing. I am all for that stuff.
But if you are not a fan, it’s not impacting you AT all! It’s not even as if the “massive crowds” at these games cause traffic congestion. LOL
Post 41: with all due respect you don’t know what you are talking about.
“Electrical Banana, bound to be the very next craze”

There was a story last week about a WNBA player whose wig fell off mid game causing a delayed time out.
A fan who laughed at this was ejected.
That’s ridiculous.
Does anyone here ever actually watch a whole game?
.....
I’ve watched about 2 minutes.
And the game really wasn’t going on that much.
It was when that player lost her wig and ran off the court and they stopped everything and threw a fan out for mocking.
I can see why throwing things on the court became a thing...
But I am not going to be tempted to watch anymore.
Even things thrown on the floor won’t tempt me.
Unless it’s a wig next time.
But that’s not really watching a game.
But for the time being it is a money producer.
That is what investors want.
Does anyone here ever actually watch a whole game?
I don’t need to smell crap to know that it stinks.
