The American film industry, long a bastion of cultural influence, is teetering on the edge of obsolescence, and Google’s Veo 3, an AI-powered video generation model launched in May 2025, may have delivered the fatal blow. This technological upheaval is not only a disruption of Hollywood’s economic model but a long-overdue reckoning for an industry steeped in liberal bias, out of touch with traditional values and increasingly irrelevant to the average person.
Veo 3, with its ability to generate high-quality videos from simple text prompts or static images, threatens to dismantle the bloated budgets, overpaid actors, and elitist gatekeepers of Tinseltown, while empowering independent creators to produce compelling content without the need for vast financial resources. Veo 3 is poised to end Hollywood’s reign, send its actors to the unemployment line, liberate creative individuals, and expose the industry’s liberal excesses as a relic of a bygone era. That is what is sinking Hollywood, along with all the woke crap from the past few years.
“girl powers”
My husband almost went ballistic when we watched “Hidden Figures”. If it weren’t for three black chicks, we’d be earthbound forever. (I don’t have an eyeroll emoji on my BlackBerry.)
“MIDI control was going to make musicians obsolete,”
Maybe it did. I haven’t heard actual music since about then.
