Grok "Imagine" Demo

Unbelievable. This was created from text prompts. Unfortunately, the image creators hardly ever share their text prompts.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

I am absolutely astonished and blown away that AI has come so far, so fast. Progress is accelerating at an astounding rate. This image was created in the Grok "Imagine" feature. Elon Musk posted this image four hours ago.

The "Imagine" feature for Grok, developed by xAI, is a beta video and image generation tool powered by the Aurora model. It allows users to create images and short video clips (up to 6 seconds) with sound from text prompts or transform static images into videos. However, as of the latest information available, access to Imagine is restricted and not fully rolled out to all users.

Availability: Imagine is currently in beta and primarily accessible to a limited group, including select xAI employees and influencers. Wider access is planned for October 2025, but you need to join a waitlist for early access.

Subscription Requirement: To use Imagine, you must subscribe to the SuperGrok plan, which costs $30 per month. Free users or those with lower-tier subscriptions (e.g., X Premium) cannot access this feature yet.

Unless you’re an xAI employee or a selected influencer with early access, you cannot use Imagine yet. You can prepare by:
• Downloading the Grok app (iOS or Android) or visiting grok.com.
• Subscribing to SuperGrok ($30/month).
• Joining the waitlist for early access, which is expected to roll out in October 2025.

The "Imagine" feature is still in early beta, and xAI is optimizing it for "fun and shareable" content rather than perfection.

You can generate images or videos by entering text prompts, browse pre-generated content, or use voice commands. The feature supports "spicy" content (including nudity), which has sparked some controversy. The "spicy mode" has raised concerns about deepfakes and explicit content. xAI has implemented age verification for NSFW features, but ethical concerns remain.

I have a very old Italian Mother-in-Law AI system and, when I submit that image, it just keeps repeating, “Manga, manga, you leetle whore.”

Soon, people won’t know what is real on the internet and what is not. We haven’t thought through where all this is heading.

“what is real “

Yes the line is getting fuzzy.
We are a long way from black and white tv.
The sensory overload is hitting the red line.

Even video can't be trusted.
3d holograms ... google glasses ..

interesting times.

Wow, that is VERY impressive. How long did it take you to make that? How did you get the voices with the foreign accents? Do you have VEO 2 make the short segments and then you combined them into a single video in post? How complicated were the prompts you used?

There are lots of brilliant minds contemplating where all this is going and what it will mean for our future...but there is no agreement on that and there are many different views. The most horrible outcomes are AI turns evil, begins to see humans as a threat to it, and works to destroy humanity. I question how AI would muster enough robot power to keep all the raw materials needed to build chips and factories flowing and now to generate enough power to keep all the AI running.

Well, then the AI needs some fine-tuning... a genuine old Italiana would call you a “putana.” :)

So. Many videos on YouTube are just fake, but like real, and have been exposed by keen eyed observers. I have to tell folks that videos they have me watch as “un.beleivable” really are u believable because they are fake. Several ear videos where folks riding g bikes through woods and “being charged” by bears have turned out to be fakes- but they fool so many folks. The comments sections are filled with ooo’s and ahhhh’s. Wish YouTube. Wou,d cut down on the fake vi,ds, or ma,e the makers put in title that they are ai generated or fake vids- would cut way down on being sent videos with a message “wow, you gotta see this!” 😆

That is quite beautiful. Frighteningly so, in fact. Angelic.

It’s really cool stuff!! But what bums me out is with AI you can get this quality of detail, but for some strange reason, ALL, enhancement programs for existing picture and video, distort and overly soften causing a bloated unfocused appearance...

Yes, there is still something a bit “off” in AI images and videos. But we need to remember this is in its infancy. Just imagine where this will be in 5, 10, or 50 years. Think about automobile advancement to in 25 and 50 years.

1908 to 1933 (25 years)

1933 to 1958 (25 more years)

Overall (1908 to 1958)

The Model T was a utilitarian vehicle prioritizing affordability and basic function. By 1933, cars like the Chrysler Airflow introduced aerodynamics and comfort but were pricier. By 1958, vehicles like the Cadillac Eldorado and Chevrolet Impala emphasized power, luxury, and style, catering to a growing consumer culture but with fuel efficiency sacrifices and minimal safety features by modern standards.
