Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren took an accidental tumble while on the Senate floor.
Moseying around atop the Senate chamber's blue carpet floors Warren can be seen on video deep in thought.
She then halts and attempts to lean back on a desk at the front of the chamber.
Suddenly, it tilts over and sends the senator crashing onto the desk.
Lawmakers immediately run over to help the Massachusetts Democrat off the historic desk.
Sens. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., were the first on the scene offering a helping hand to the 76-year-old lawmaker.
Warren's office did not immediately respond to the Daily Mail's request for comment.
The incident happened late on Wednesday evening as the Senate worked to get President Donald Trump's nominees confirmed.
The video was first circulated by conservative Washington Reporter editor Matthew Foldi on Thursday afternoon.
'Elizabeth Warren just ate s*** on the Senate floor,' he wrote.
Soon many right-wing pundits began predictably piling on.
'Senator down!,' Eric Daugherty, a commentator wrote. 'Senator Elizabeth Warren plummets to the floor during a Senate vote. She was trying to lean. It ended poorly.'

She’s lucky then, she could’ve gotten brain damage.
If she is feeling any pain, I am sure that Big Pharma will fix that.
LMAO at "deep in thought". Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha

I think senator fetterman threw the dress code away.
Tumble? Pfffft she lost balance and toppled down in a sitting position. Slightly Inebriated after an offline “I’m gonna get me a beer” lunch.
I can’t stand this woman, but I think the entire incident has been blown out of proportion.
I can’t believe somebody tried to convince the readers that Tammy Duckworth was a hero to help get Fauxcahontas up off her butt.
