"It seems to me that it get series once you hit 100 mph."

Last year I got pulled over in Wyoming for 89mph in a 75mph zone. As soon as I saw the Trooper sitting on the median, I pulled over to the shoulder. I knew he had me.

He comes to the window and says, "It's no fun to chase you if you just pull over." Laughing. We chatted for a bit, he ran my license, registration, and insurance. Alles in Ordnung.

He gave me a warning. First one I ever got in my life. I didn't have the heart to tell him, if he'd seen me two hours earlier, he would have caught me doing 120 in an 85.

Dodge Challenger, Mrs. Kit's car. Big power plant. Very fast very easy. That beast smoothes out at about 110 - feels like 50.

Yeah, I think anything over 100mph gets attention. I also think cops like an excuse to stretch the wings on their police-specials. A few years ago a friend was doing a ride-along with a CO State Trooper. Turns out those Camaros they had could do at least 186mph on I-25. That's NASCAR level.

I'll be on the lookout for a Mt. Prospect city police auction...(cue Blues Brothers)

I live in a speed trap town, small town in Appalachia on a 4 lane highway. My daughter got pulled in a 25 mph zone. Cop walks up to see a multi-color hairdo.
“What brings you here?”
“My parents just moved here”
“Oh. Slow down please” He walks off.
They don’t pull locals. The funeral home flower truck as Autobahn privileges.
