The Democrat outrage about Sydney Sweeney and its problems with keeping male voters are two sides of the same coin. The party hates men, manliness, and normal heterosexuality.
I kind of knew about Sydney Sweeney before yesterday, because I’d heard that her breasts were real and spectacular.
I definitely knew about the Democrats’ problem attracting young men to the party. While Democrats won young men in the 18-29 age group by around ten points in 2020, just five years later, the Washington Post reported that around 53% of young men in that age cohort now lean Republican.
Leftists have all sorts of ideas about why men are abandoning them. The WaPo implies it’s primarily that the Dems are unsympathetic to men’s “feeling helpless in providing for their families as prices rose and jobs evaporated.” In other words, it’s the economy.
Other theories coming from Democrats are:
1. Democrats are seen as too cautious and scripted in how they communicate. However, they’re also seen as weak, which is not a surprise, given that shrieking is not usually associated with strength.
2. Democrats reject the gender binary, which most men like.
3. Democrats left men with a cratered economy that denies them the ability to buy traditional American markers of success, such as a house.
Unsaid in all these studies is something that the Democrats cannot acknowledge: The party genuinely hates men.
The only masculine role model in the Democrat party, according to the WaPo, is Barack Obama—and astute readers may recall that Obama said that the best role model for a guy is...a gay man. Thus, even their male role model isn’t really that into being male.

She has those weird eyes in every picture. Even the American Eagle commercials that have gone viral she has these droopy eyes. It’s kind of like seeing a hot chick with Downes Syndrome...

Some people think their versions of perversion and fornication are somehow less sinful than that of others. It isn’t. It all leads to the same place.
It is kind of strange - the Left used to be all for this sort of thing - this sort of thing is what came first in the “sexual revolution” - now the perversions that had to be accepted first to get the train rolling lead to the perversions of the extreme LBGTQIALMNOP+++ lobby now are so “mild” by comparison they now see them as bigoted. Now the “right” defends certain perversions as better than others...

The woke crowd must still be suffering from butthurt after the DNC fired that 300+ pound blob who was responsible for outreach to the male voting demographic, so they’re taking it out on an ad featuring an attractive female.
The progressive idea of American societal ills was formed by the cable TV show “Mad Men.” Seems like the emotional reaction to the Sydney Sweeney jeans ad pretty much fits the established message of that show.
