@karma44921039

"I cannot think of a more dangerous initiative than this... We simply have to say no."

Nigel Farage on the desperate push to roll out digital ID, CBDCs and a cashless society—globally—by 2030.

"If we're not careful, we head towards a Chinese-style social credit system, where unless you go along with the views of the day, you become a non-person."

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Not sure about the US but the EU are pushing ahead with this in their "directives"...

RealID is being pushed heavily in the U.S.

It turns out, though, that the federal TSA is not refusing to let U.S. citizens board domestic airline flights without RealID.

And for international travel, a U.S. passport will still suffice..

The election of Trump will see a lot of this postponed but when the pendulum swings and a Dem is in office they might get their way

Hopefully this won’t be for a good while!

That’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

In Florida, a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or ID card is required for domestic air travel and access to certain federal facilities starting May 7, 2025. Florida has been issuing REAL ID-compliant credentials since January 1, 2010, and these are marked with a gold star in the upper right corner. Most Floridians who obtained their licenses after 2010 already have a REAL ID. If you don't have a REAL ID, you can obtain one by visiting a Florida driver's license service center or tax collector's office and providing the required documentation.

It's already here in Florida. I've had one for years. It's part of the "Motor Voter" deal as well. So all the illegals in-state have one also. Which makes them "legal" to vote in all elections in Florida, including the federal ones. Which they are supposed to not be able to do. Hah.

In Florida you just self-certify you are authorized to vote by clicking a box on the computer screen at your voting precinct. No documentation required. You got the Drivers License? You're in like Flynn.

This whole motor voter thing with state issued Drivers Licenses manipulated by the federal government for other purposes sucks and needs to be rolled back. What is Trump doing about it? More specifically, what is that worthless Congress doing about it? All of Trump's EO's will fade into nothingness the next time we get a Democrat administration.

This rotten Uniparty Congress is hostile to Trump and is not codifying into law a damned thing Trump is pushing.

“This rotten Uniparty Congress”

Indeed, this is the biggest problem this nation has had for decades. Some would argue that it’s democrats, that’s a fair argument but they are the minority and always have been since WWII. It’s the “bipartisan” aspect of congress that has brought this country to it’s knees.

Many argue that a third party is needed, however to have a third party you must initially have a second party.

“Many argue that a third party is needed, however to have a third party you must initially have a second party.”

You got that right, plus countries with vibrant third parties can dissolve Parliament for new elections as often as they want. A major weakness here is fixed fixed elections, and yes, I meant to use the word twice.

Then we go and and adopt stupid British ideas like run-off elections which are automatic re-election for incumbents because the number 50 is somehow sacred. It sure wasn’t for Bill Clinton.

Can the U.S. survive the next transition of national political power out of Pubbie hands? Whether in Congress or at the White House?

Same in NV. In fact, we discovered after 35 years we didn’t have our marriage licence and had to request it from where we were married. We had a ‘marriage certificate’ but not the actual licence. Crazy. Anyway, we are both gold star entities. We have no plans to fly anywhere.
