I tried the cbd only and nothing happened. Melatonin either does nothing or has a stay awake effect. Now I take half a gummy with both cbd and thc and it helps me stay asleep. I time it so it takes effect after I'm asleep because being stoned is a big negative for me. Yes, a little slow in the morning, though, for a while.
If you win at day trading you are good to go for many years to come.
If you lose you will fall into depression and dementia.
Lol.
As to the dietary recommendations, it is the same propaganda, anti-meat, eggs, butter, etc.
Thanks for pointering that out.
Used to do that while editing my TV series and it turned me into a machine. Never missed a deadline!
Then, one week in August 2020, my ankles had swollen up and I couldn't climb stairs without gasping for air. Wife took me to Urgent Care. Turned out my BP was 243/150. I was so ignorant, I asked the med tech "is that high?" They got me over to the ICU for tests and three days of detox from all the crap I'd been eating and the chew. I just bring this up, because I hope you're checking your blood pressure. Don't let it destroy your kidneys like mine did.

If you want to write something challenging, write Assembler Code. /S.../S
I'm just playing!! Seriously, all programming languages require considerable knowledge and expertise. My COBOL, RPG, VB and yes, some Assembler days are far behind me, but it was always satisfying to write code that you could see executed at the machine level.
If you write code for a living, I have a serious question for you. Do you see AI impacting jobs currently held by Programmers?
THC is reportedly bad for restful sleep. Something about the psych effects on your brain preventing REM sleep
I take the Zelenko protocol a super B complex, lots of morning coffee and I started playing poker again on the online simulator. 😉
I've read that too. But I have to get some sleep, even bad sleep. If I take nothing I'll get maybe five hours, and broken up at that.
I write code for a living until Friday. Then no more...hopefully
If Phyllis Jones is a new person, is her son still her son?
Sounds like someone is retiring or changing jobs. Best wishes!!
Ping!
Re-retiring. I failed at the first attempt.
Supplements that help me get a good night's sleep. Magnesium Glycinate 200mg, Melatonin 3mg, Tylenol (or generic) 8hr.
Devil's in the details. There are some forms of Magnesium that cause loose stools. Magnesium Glycinate does not. Magnesium relaxes and also serves as an anti-inflammatory.
Melatonin is the hormone the body uses to put you to sleep. It is also an anti-inflammatory.
8 hr Tylenol is something I take on a need to basis. By that I mean if I feel particularly resistant to falling asleep on a given night, I'll add the 8 hr Tylenol to my melatonin and magnesium regiment. The Tylenol seems to serve to relax muscles and tension. When I take all three, I frequently get 8 hours non-interrupted sleep.
Regarding B12, I am taking one quick dissolving 5,000 iu tablet and one 1,000 iu extended release tablet.
We differ in what causes panic attacks, anxiety etc. I’ve never had a panic attack, anxiety or even stress and prescription drugs or a psychiatrist etc are not an answer either, just another crutch.
I get pissed but that’s a natural reaction to stupid people, liberals (one in the same) and when I’m working on something and it’s not going right otherwise I’m loving life.
-——Re-retiring——
Interesting concept, and Friday to boot.
I visited my last assignment today and will also announce my re retirement on Friday August 1.
My part time retirement job began unplanned and certainly unexpected back in 1995. I have been working at my part time retirement job as long as I did at my real job. That time is 30 years.
I don’t know what I am going to do to stay active but something will turn up.
I believe in what Clint admonished..... Don’t let the old man in
I keep my brain limber as a tax accountant at a large real estate company. The partnership returns are among the most complex returns I have ever prepared. My goal is to stay healthy and productive for several more years until I can retire at 75.
