A gunman shot dead five people in a busy market in Thailand on Monday — with chilling video capturing him calmly walking with the gun in his hand just before the mass shooting.
The unidentified killer was seen wearing a T-shirt and shorts as he walked toward a market in the capital, Bangkok, with a handgun in his right hand and a large backpack worn to cover his chest and stomach, according to the clip obtained by The Sun.
The dead were four security guards and one merchant, according to Siam Bunsom, the commander in chief of Bangkok’s Metropolitan Police Bureau. Two women were also wounded.

Your sushi gave me extreme dyspepsia, now you must all die!
Impossible. This only happens in America.
Future?
Thailand at least used to have an unusual methamphetamine combo that would drive men violently insane. Soon the police policy became STK. This, and a coup d’état seemed to have ended the problem.

Meanwhile, a father and mother walking with their two daughters on a trail in a park in Arkansas were shot dead. The two children were not hurt. It was reported on TV this morning. The killer escaped in a vehicle which had its license plate covered over. I haven’t seen a thread about this yet.
From the BBC.
“gunman’s wife told them that he had held a grudge against the security guards related to his car being scratched in 2019 or 2020. The wife has a food stall at the market, the statement said.
“Mr. Noi is a person who loves and is very protective of his car, and is also a violent person,” said the statement, identifying the suspect only by a nickname.”

Is five people considered a mass?
As terrible as it is, I thought shooting a mass of people would be 20+.
It’s listed as the Or Tor Kor wet market, which I did not know existed, but it’s right at the MO Chit Skyway/subway exchange along with the Chatuchak Market which is HUGH, been there many times. North Center section of Bangkok a little south of the Don Meuang Airport (DMK), which I’ll be flying into next month.
