It will be fun to watch.
Same thing goes on up here thanks to the friendly neighbourhood Liberals.
When I was living in Arizona, the Kenyan sent a whole entourage of his Ubangis from the District of Corruption to Arizona to Gerrymander the state. Some retarded District of Corruption weaponized “judge” gave him the okay to do so.
Yep. Lefties enjoy these tactics when they’re in power and use them as weapons - and despise them when they’re out of power and used against them.
Filibuster and lawfare come to mind.
Missouri is trying the same thing by gerrymandering the KC area.
Reason #1,001 why I voted for Trump. The pre-Trump GOP would think that gerrymadering was beneath them and that they were the party that would take the “high road” and stand on “prinicple.” All the while the Dems cleaned their clocks. This is exactly what the GOP needs to do. And then enjoy the Dem screams.
We can't do democrat's 'importing millions of illegals/voters' because we're NOT scum of the earth like them. And we don't own the corrupt press. AND we 're not criminlals like Biden and his goons...
But gerrymandering IS legal so let's go for it.
Gerrymandering has transformed Illinois from a competitive “Purple” state into a solid “Blue” state. Nancy Pelosi actually urged the state Democrats to gerrymander Illinois in advance of the 2022 cycle to increase the number of Democrats in Congress.
As recently as 2010, under a Democrat map, the Republicans gained four seats in a swing election and held a 11-8 majority in the Illinois Congressional Delegation. Redistricting restored the Democrats to a 12-6 majority (the state lost one seat after the census).
Dems started it

BTTT
If it weren’t for Gerrymandering, the Congressional Black Caucus wouldn’t exist as Southern states drew districts to ensure Black representatives were elected.
And litigation you will have -- in spades. So any redistricting might not take effect until after 2026 as the cases wind their way through the courts.
