I could not care less about MLB, but these guys are the bestest and funniest quality baseball players I have every seen.
No link, just letting you know ESPN is airing one of their games......

Wish they would (could) play more games IN Savannah. Grayson Stadium is a wonderful, if small, baseball venue.

Reminds me of the show Futurama, when Phillip Fry (who was frozen in 1999 and thawed out in the year 3000) discovers baseball is much different in the future, now called blernsball.
Fry asks one of his friends, Leela, if blernsball is the same as baseball. Her reply is something to the effect of 'baseball was boring! That's why they jazzed it up!'
Fry initially retorts that 'baseball isn't boring!' before trailing off for a moment and chiming back in: Huh! So they finally jazzed it up?'
A Bananas game is definitely on my list of things to see in person. Too bad tickets are so difficult to get.

I ❤️ Banana Ball. It’s great clean fun for the whole family, it’s a non stop show wrapped in a baseball game with modified rules that keep the action going!

Where they're playing right now, they're sold out!
Amazing, but putting baseball where it should be. A kids game with grown ups behaving like kids........

Recently saw a story about this. It looks so much fun. Also mentioned how the league was keeping it affordable. That’s great! There are not alot of affordable family friendly activities. Most sporting events are out of reach for the average family.

The Savanna Bananas are the baseball equivalent of the Harlem Globe Trotters. Not really. These are real games. The other teams are not just foils for the Bananas.

Two hour time limit.
The pitcher and batter don't screw around. Batter stays in the box and the pitcher throws as soon as the catcher returns the ball to him.

I agree. I reside here in Savannah. Grayson Stadium is classic. I applaud the Bananas, They have become the baseball equivalent of the Harlem Globetrotters and they are raking in the cash. God bless them!
