Less than two miles outside of Philadelphia lies the tiny borough of Bryn_Athyn. It is 92.5% white. Because the borough was created by members of the General Church of the New Jerusalem, they have been able to keep the property there owned by church members. Keeping land in the community in the possession of members of a religion attracts less social condemnation than keeping someplace white.

As a historical figure, the "Austrian painter" led the Germans to a disastrous defeat, and Germany was overrun in the East by the Slavs, who were very white, with some Germanic ethnicity. While preaching ethnic purity, he himself was 25% Jewish. He's a strange hero to have. However, the desire for birds of a feather to flock together is very natural.

The amusing part of the “white nationalist” movement is the internal contradictions.

Most folks in 2025 in the US are a mixture of all kinds of ethnic backgrounds and even “races”.

So the first and obvious question is what qualifies as “white” and what percent of “purity” is required?

If someone is—say Nick Fuentes—half Mexican—does that count as white?

Are they going to require DNA tests of all residents with a list of what ethnic groups are OK and what are not, what percent of “whiteness” is OK and what is not?

People can do whatever they want, freedom of association and all that, but on a personal level I’m not a fan of any kind of separatist group no matter what the basis. There always seem to ultimately be some pretty negative consequences associated with it, sometimes horrific, and often affecting the people that are members themselves.

I will take issue with calling a group that wishes to isolate themselves and preserve their European-American culture with segregation based on race. The original sin of the US was slavery. After slavery ended, it was replaced by segregation that left the former black slaves incapable of rising above the lowest class of Southern society. The isolationists are different. They don't want any non-Europeans in their local community. Whites will form the lowest rung of their society. Freedom of association means they can do this. Keeping their community white after it gets established will be their problem, practically and legally.

That's both true and irrelevant.

There's disagreement among Jews as to who qualifies as Jewish. And most American blacks have a certain amount of European ancestry. Yet no one questions their right to define themselves however they wish, even if their self definitions might seem contradictory or "amusing" to outsiders.

All identities -- racial, ethnic, religious, or even political -- invite disputes among members as to who qualifies. That's why groups split off into factions, denominations, competing organizations, etc.

But subjectivity doesn't mean identities don't exist.

They could always expand and buy more land nearby. It's refreshing to see some white folks return to having small houses and large families as in the past. The small houses also led to the children moving out sooner to start their own families. The U.S. needs more white people having children to keep up with the polygamous Muslims who think girls should be married off when they reach puberty.

Corporations are government created entities, subject to government regulation. Including non-discrimination policies.

I'm not sure that a corporation established to racially discriminate would be upheld in court.

Covenants in title deeds that discriminate based on race were deemed unconstitutional in the 1940s.

Although it might be legal if it favors a "protected class" (hence, "black cities" might be okay).
