One reason is that when they sweep for the criminals, they encounter other illegals. What are they supposed to do, ignore them?

So a load of narcotics and illegal weapons and cash from robberies is found in the place where the one guy on the warrant was hiding. So judge would rule they have to ignore the evidence and not allow anything in court referring to any of it. Maybe a young child on the scene as the ones at the marijuana operation would have to be overlooked.
