Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz Will Permanently Close Indiana Center

The Planned Parenthood abortion business is closing yet another center — the 19th center this year.

Planned Parenthood’s Evansville, Indiana center, a facility long targeted by pro-life advocates, will permanently close its doors to in-person appointments on Sept. 4.

The decision marks a significant victory for the pro-life movement in Southwest Indiana.

The closure, announced by Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawai’i, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky (PPGNHAIK), comes amid what the abortion organization describes as mounting financial and political pressures. The decision to shutter the clinic at 125 N. Weinbach Ave. follows years of advocacy from groups like Right to Life of Southwest Indiana, which celebrated the closure as a triumph for their cause.

“Right to Life of Southwest Indiana would like to thank all of our faithful supporters who have consistently shown up to pray and peacefully protest outside Planned Parenthood’s facility,” the organization stated in a news release. “We are grateful for this closure and will continue our efforts to protect the unborn in our community.”

Planned Parenthood officials cited “rising costs, low reimbursement rates, the lasting effects of COVID-19, the aftermath of the Dobbs decision, and targeted attacks on reproductive health care” as reasons for the closure.

“This decision was not made lightly and reflects a careful evaluation of patient needs, access to care, and the challenges facing sexual and reproductive health care today,” the abortion organization said in a statement.

With the closing, the abortion giant has closed facilities in Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Texas and utah this year — 19 total among those states.

Pro-life advocates view the closure as a step toward reducing abortion, a mission they’ve pursued for years. Indiana protects babies from abortion under its abortion ban, the first approved by a legislature following Dobbs in 2023.

“Abortion is not health care,” said Mary Ellen Van Dyke, executive director of Right to Life.

Right to Life of Southwest Indiana attributed the closure to the “power of prayer” and the dedication of its supporters, signaling continued efforts to challenge Planned Parenthood’s presence in the region.

Government statistics show Planned Parenthood relies on the college-age demographic for its abortion and contraception business. About one-third of all abortions in the U.S. occur among women aged 20-24, and another 13.5 percent occur at younger ages, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In 2012, Students for Life of America (SFLA) reported that 79 percent of Planned Parenthood businesses are located in zip codes that are within five miles of a college campus. But students don’t seem to be fully informed about what these centers do: an SFLA survey the same year found that 59 percent of college-aged respondents did not know that Planned Parenthood commits abortions.

“Planned Parenthood preys off young girls in crisis, locating right near our high schools and college campuses, telling them abortion is their only real option in their moment of desperation,” warned SFLA.

“You know, this is the part about democrats i do not understand, why do they promote killing your own baby?”

It’s all in the wording.

They don’t say “kill your baby” they say “help you with your problem” or “we will help you take care of an unwanted pregnancy”.

They teach their staff to NEVER say the word “baby” only the Latin “fetus”. They tell the women it looks like a “clump of cells” and not like a baby. They never let the woman see the ultrasound. They know once she does, she will see, actually “see” her baby and want to keep it.

They give no fucks. Yes I said it. They are about money and that is it. They would climb over a mountain of dead babies for that dollar bill.

Only for humans can a pregnancy be an “accident”. What we need are more non-injurious and non-fatal accidents. However, more non-accidental pregnancies would be better.

These ghastly things must be in the same quantities as 7-Elevens and illegals. Every day one closes for the ladt 20 years and abortions are still up. Like a car with a crank for starting, who needs them when a pill kills privately and the women can just hide the ptsd of it all better.

Track drugs and alcohol and std sales to see how things are working out for them, and marriage/divorce.
