I have osteoporosis, fell while walking fast in a parking lot and tripped over speed bump. Really hurt. Broke knee. After knee healed, my MD gave me.a presription for Fosamax to strenthen bone. That was two years ago, didn’t renew prescription. I have it on my list to ask him to prescribe it again.
I’m 89, very healthy in other ways. Still try to exercise an hour every day, which was easy a couple of years ago.. Takes time to get back to where I was.
