Obama and Biden both withheld the files, if any. There’s no dirt on Trump in there or they would’ve used it. I think Trump is using it a tool to shut down adversaries who are on it. Dangling it.

I don’t think there is a client list, but how do you prove that something doesn’t exist?

10. Enough Republicans are on the list that it could put at risk the party’s Congressional majority. The Democrats will fight for every seat no matter how dirty the members are. The Republicans will cut them loose immediately.

Errata:

If unpublished “The list” could be used in a type of Pelosi/Shifty/Chuckster (at el) blackmail trust to shudder out future collusion attempts.

If they had the goods on Trump, Biden and his merry band of Criminals would have released it. Obama before Biden, as his merry band of criminals in intelligence positions is becoming more obvious.

No, it’s not about Trump. It’s probably to protect innocent people and THE GOVERNMENT. I still believe, IMHO, that evidence suggests that Epstein was getting government help and protection. That means he was integrated in with a three letter acronym that’s not supposed to run operations on US soil. The ‘powers that be’ don’t want to be accountable, past or present, or even into the future for running such operations.

From a political perspective, it keeps the Liberals and wing nuts from noticing that the goods are coming out on Obama. They somehow believe that the SCOTUS rulings protect Obama for his misuse of government in damaging the next administration. The SCOTUS won’t rule in his favor, and as former Commander in Chief, he may be subjected to military tribunal. The Epstein thing could be a diversion while the frontal attack takes shape.

Well,Trump's decision came immediately after the P Diddy jury debacle.

In key prosecution districts , high profile Epstein/Diddy prosecutions are an uphill battle. The risk of failure is over 75% and, even if you win, sometimes the juice ain't worth the squeeze

Trump is working the Epstein issue in a different way.

There is no “list” per se. We have his flight logs and his contact lists. From those it should be possible to develop a list of those folks who were in close and regular contact with him, and which were of a casual nature. And then determine whose dealings were of a nefarious nature. That would be a job for FBI and perhaps some good journalists.

If there is no list it’s because they haven’t built it. The worry about besmirching innocents is bogus because their names are already out there, and no one in officialdom has done the work to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Epstein and Maxwell must be the first pimps convicted of pimping children that had zero clients.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14922809/reason-Epstein-list-never-released-update-Trump.html

'Jeffrey Epstein, in my view, is a textbook case of an access agent. I've said this before, but I think it's important and it bears repeating,' he told Bet-David.

'If you are a foreign intelligence service and you want information from ... important people, you want secret information from them—you’re not going to recruit them.

'They don’t need anything from you. They don’t have any financial vulnerabilities. So you do the next best thing: you recruit someone who has access to them, and you finance this person... he has a private island.' "

Mike Benz @MikeBenzCyber A CIA Name Trace can be turned around in 2 weeks. In 2 weeks time, Attorney General Pam Bondi should be able to stand before the American public and tell us the results of what's inside for Jeffrey Epstein.

I can think of one other possible reason, and it isn't nice. The "client" list is only a contact list, it contains the names of handlers as well as clients, and the operation, or people in it, are still active. The real evidence is in the videos, which will contain legal (if sordid) acts on the part of consenting adults as well as criminal contact with minors. Release of the former will lay the government open to lawsuits. "Justice", if any, will consist of private settlements, some of which have already taken place.

What has gone missing in the media narrative, incidentally, is the material recovered from the Zorro ranch in New Mexico, which is also reportedly in FBI custody. The ranch has since been sold to San Rafael Ranch LLC, presumably after evidence sterilization. Epstein Island may turn out to be a minor part of the operation.

I have no proof, obviously, and so this must remain pure speculation. Certain details might explain the apparent reluctance to do an uncritical data dump, and at this point practically no one in the public will settle for less.

The focus on the underage girls actually helps to obscure what he was really up to, I suspect. It’s only part of the story. He was moving billions of dollars for governments and government connected billionaires, it seems. And he was moving lots of people around, not only underage girls. There is a bigger story here.

This is a good summary of all the possibilities, but where the Trump administration screwed the pooch is going from “We’re going to release all of the Epstein files!!!” to “Anyone who cares about the Epstein files is a retard!” Such a blatant reversal is guaranteed to rile everyone up, but then they complain that’s it’s all just a distraction?

Trump is usually far too astute to do something so stupid, so I’ve been suspecting that he has something up his sleeve with all these theatrics.

“1. No Formal List Exists”

Occam’s razor. Epstein shirley wasn’t stupid enough to write down and document his crimes.

Comey would be proud of this list.

How about covering up the blackmail operations, the compromised, and the role of CIA, Mossad and MI6, at least?

1. No Formal List Exists

Maybe - though there are plenty of reasons to believe such a list HAS existed - much goes in to "WHO" Epstein REALLY was... And if he was an asset, whether of the CIA or Mossad, or..., there likely has been some kind of literal list - And this might be particularly true if Epstein was simply building a blackmail enterprise...

2. Avoiding Legal Risk

Releasing a list of contacts, whether it is supposedly a "client list", or simply a contacts list (as has already partially been released, is not much of a legal risk. Certainly, if a list were released and directly labeled "clients", if that is not, in fact what it is, then yes... But if it is clearly labeled as "contacts", or whatever is appropriate (like full flight logs, for example) - then there shouldn't be any legal risk.

3. Victim Protection

The only way victims would be harmed or outed, would be if their names/identifiable info were included. That is a red herring that is already being used as a defense.

4. Avoiding Exposure of Record Destruction

THIS is the most likely on this list. Start publishing names (and maybe dates), and that gives WAY too much lead time for the destruction of evidence or worse... victims. 5. National Security Concerns

This too likely has SOME merit, but not in the way most might think. Start outing some of the biggest, deepest, and most powerful people in the world... it most definitely would create a massive security concern. These folks have power that no national constitution or laws ever authorized or that anyone can truly grasp. And the tentacles of this (and much of the international human trafficking (especially child sex trafficking) originate in organizations that, frankly - if I were to suggest it here, a certain portion of Freepers would blow a gasket...

6. Collateral Damage

This is directly related to #2 above. Some of Epstein's contacts list has already been released (with significant, yet seemingly random redactions), with no concern for "collateral damage". Again - HOW the list is released and labeled makes a large difference.

7. Administrative Bandwidth

Either such a list has already been combed through, or literally 100% of the claims of "investigation" have been fiction for years now. The resources are available... far more was expended towards DJT for 4 years of his first term... and still through the 4 years he was not POTUS. Flimsy excuse, at best.

8. Trump Administration Running a Counter-Op Operation

This also has merit - but is almost as "swampy" as the entire case already has been.

9. Disinformation Bombs Planted to Damage the Trump Administration

Maybe - though even more likely is that there is damming evidence, even if NOT against DJT, against other of his close associates and friends - including international figures.
