I’m surprised the First Lady is allowing it, knowing the grumbling it will cause.
If this is only for the Opera House only, then maybe it won’t matter too much, but Melania should have a response ready when the reporters begin asking her “Mrs. Trump, what is your favorite opera? or “Who’s your favorite opera composer?”
She WILL be getting that question.
I think that she's cool with it. The mainstream media praised Michelle and Jill. Ignored (or trashed) Melania the whole time. I'm sure she did not appreciate that.
It IS just for the ‘Opera House.’ They’re NOT renaming the entire Kennedy Center for her.
And as we’ve seen time and again, Melania is very educated, worldly, speaks many languages, has a heart the size of Texas, HATES Communism, LOVES children and actually CARES about them as humans and not props. Melania is gracious to a fault.
She can handle anything they throw at her. Unless, have you not noticed how the press is 100% IGNORING HER this time around? They’re not trashing her, but they’re not really ‘covering’ anything she does in the course of a day, either.
