The hamburger brand 'In-N-Out Burger,' representing the United States, is leaving California, where it has rooted for 77 years since its founding.
On the 21st (local time), In-N-Out drew the attention of the U.S. industry due to the so-called headquarters transfer issue. Lynsi Snyder (43), granddaughter of the founder and the current owner, declared in a recent podcast interview that she would move the headquarters to Tennessee and relocate herself as well.

Accurate.
“I would warn against moving to Tennessee though. All you need to do is look at Nashville these days “
NEVER look at Nashville or points west. And Franklin, south of Nashville, is a lib enclave. The In N Out lady didn’t do enough research, IMO.
Eastern TN is conservative, but I can see that it might lean left ten years from now.
clickbait, bullshit article ... Lynsi Synder, owner of privately-held N&O, is moving to Franklin, TN where her family lives, because she considers California a poor place to raise a family .. N&O has had a subsidiary headquarters in Franklin for some time now which will be expanded as N&O EVENTUALLY expands into the east coast, but their primary headquarters is still in Baldwin, CA, which is the locus of efforts in CA to consolidate all N&O administration in CA to a single CA location ... all of this was recently explained in a podcast interview with Lynsi Synder ...
Isn’t eastern TN still cheaper real estate then western NC?
This is one of the few places I was considering moving after retirement. Cross the border into NC to towns like Banner Elk or any of these other mountain towns within two hours of Charlotte and a nice house STARTS at seven figures and goes up from there.
The other benefit of higher LOCAL property taxes just changed with the Big Beautiful Bill. Local property taxes are now deductible up from a max of $10k TO $40k. So, if you have a big house in NH & TN, with 10K+ property taxes to go with it, YOU JUST GOT A TAX BREAK. My house is still JUST under $10K in southern NH.
Happy to hear they’re moving out of California, but not so sure that Tennessee is gonna be much better. Memphis and other big cities in the state are hot beds for crime and liberal politics.
Roger that.
GREAT. I’ll have one of their burgers today. Smart owner.
“I would warn against moving to Tennessee though. All you need to do is look at Nashville these days and the kind of mayor they elected to know they are on a path to Califorication.”
Trump won Tennessee with 64% of the vote. Harris got 34%. That’s a landslide.
You doomers are insufferable.
Every state has a couple of Blue cities, even Red states.
yet tiny little ranches in Palo Alto still sell for $3M+...the money made from this silly AI/Nvidia bubble outweighs common sense, unfortunately.
“Isn’t eastern TN still cheaper real estate then western NC?”
Could be. I’ve never had a reason to do a comparison, but most likely there are many resources if you want to do that.
Now we can get them in TN.
If I recall correctly, I-O Burgers will be using curcumin, a natural anti-bacterial, in their foods. Thank you, RFK!!!
Why Tennessee? I-N-O has a meat plant that makes its burgers in Texas (they process their own meat). Tennessee is as far East as they can go to still be served by the Texas meat plant.
Tennessee has no income tax, lower cost of living, and nicer people.
.
Thanks for sharing. It would be nice if In-N-Out would spread throughout the MidWest even in rural areas.
Yes they are. It’s like a 2 or 3 story building.
They aren’t moving to Nashville. 25 miles south in my beautiful city of Franklin.
They’ve already started on a restaurant in front of their new headquarters they are building.
They have 13 now in Utah.
