“The Cosby Show” star Malcolm-Jamal Warner has died at age 54, TMZ reported on Monday.
A source confirmed Warner’s death to PEOPLE. The insider claimed Warner was in Costa Rica on a family vacation and drowned while swimming.
No official cause of death has been confirmed yet.
The Post has reached out to Warner’s rep for comment.

Wow, how sad. We liked him in the Resident TV show that ended a couple years back. He also did some 3/4 episode appearances on 9-1-1, and Alert: Missing persons in the last two years.

I’ve been to that beach. There are signs everywhere warning people about this. It’s still considered one of the safer beaches in the area.

Good show, but the gay character they added “Rusty” was irritating.
