Oleksandr Usyk has become boxing's undisputed heavyweight champion for a second time after beating Britain's Daniel Dubois at a packed Wembley Stadium.
The Ukrainian, 38, knocked Dubois down with a stunning right hook midway through round five, before finishing the job moments later with a devastating left hook to the chin of the 27-year-old.
Dubois was bidding to avenge his previous loss to Usyk and become the UK's first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.
Usyk - who brought a group of Ukrainian war veterans to the fight - came in with the WBO, WBC and WBA belts, and Dubois the IBF.
The 38-year-old previously had all four versions but gave up the IBF last year, with Dubois claiming the vacant belt with a devasting win over Anthony Joshua in September.

“This guy should be on he front lines. Why is he special?”
DUH!?!?
When Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, Usyk called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop the invasion.
Days later, Usyk—along with fellow boxer Vasiliy Lomachenko and MMA champion Yaroslav Amosov—travelled back to Ukraine to join the country’s territorial defense forces.
In late March, Usyk was given permission to leave Ukraine to train for his rematch with Anthony Joshua. He said that he did not want to leave, but that he visited wounded Ukrainian soldiers who told him he could help his country more by representing it internationally.
In November, after Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated Kherson, Usyk posted a message online saying:
“Donetsk is Ukraine. Luhansk is Ukraine. Zaporizhzhia is Ukraine. Crimea is Ukraine. Kherson is Ukraine.”

Usyk practices multiple martial arts outside of boxing; including Jiu-Jitsu, Sambo, and Judo.
Usyk is an Orthodox Christian.
After his fight against Anthony Joshua, he said in an interview, “The only thing I wanted to do with this fight is to give praise to my Lord Jesus Christ and to say that all comes from him”
This guy should be on the front lines. Why is he special?
In a dicktatorship like the one Little Zel is running in The Ukraine, the oligarchs have their little pets like this guy.
White Ukrainian fighters have dominated the heavy weight boxing ranks for quite a while. Ironically the Great White Hope in boxing turned out to be Ukrainian. Few Americans are aware of this because the Leftist Media doesnt think it is newsworthy.
For instance,”Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko are Ukrainian former professional boxers known for their dominance in the heavyweight division from 2004 to 2015. They are celebrated for their impressive boxing records and have both transitioned into political roles, with Vitali serving as the mayor of Kyiv.” Wikipedia, BBC
Now a new Ukrainian champion! Much to the dismay of the Putin fans on FR who support Putin’s brutal, genocidal invasion of Ukraine.
.
Sort of like the Iditarod, a girlfriend who had dog sledded got us all into the Iditarod during the Susan Butcher period and the media were hot on the Iditarod, I told my girlfriend that this would wake up the males, they would take over the wins again , and when that happened the media would lose interest in the event, and the coverage did diminish.
