Why wait until they become criminals? Give them a job.

‘“People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply,” the job posting says, offering a salary range of between $6,000-$7,000 a month.’
Typical blue state madness.

New York City has the “Ban the Box” law, also known as the Fair Chance Act, which prohibits employers from asking about an applicant’s criminal history or conducting background checks until a conditional job offer is made. That means employers can’t include questions about criminal records on job applications or during initial interviews.New York Citt sucks...

(Democrats judge themselves by their 'intentions' NOT by their results. It's one reason they fail.)

Why not? 3/4s of NY city dwellers are criminals.

My uncle had a steel erection company, built airports, prisons, arenas all over the country. While building prisons they were encouraged to use the local talent. He found one guy an accountant that had stolen a ton of money through fraud on the books but the guy was a natural on a crane. Boss told him to come see him for a job when he got out. I asked my uncle you would hire a criminal to work for you? He said, not going to let him work on the books just the crane.
